Sun-thinned linseed oil is exposed to sunlight for about 6 weeks, causing it to oxidize, polymerize, thicken and lighten. It dries faster than conventional linseed oil and has a drying effect when applied as a medium, giving the color more shine. Sun thickened oils are particularly suitable for glazes in the upper layers of paint.

Iso-aliphatic solvent, free from aromatics, low in odor
Chemical description: Isoparaffinic hydrocarbon mixture.

The solvent is a medium evaporating, low odor solvent. It evaporates slower than turpentine and odorless solvents, allowing the paint to stay longer "open", allowing a longer working time. The colors become duller on drying. It evaporates completely and leaves no residue.

Application:
For thinning oil paints for better flow, penetration and leveling. For diluting or removing Lilly Regalrez® Finishing Varnish For cleaning wax, oil, brushes and general studio use.

Available in 250 ml (8,45 oz), 500 ml (16,9 oz) and 1 (33,8 oz) liter bottles.

Pastogel is a painting medium for oil paints, made from champagne chalk, silicic acid and bentonite in linseed oil.
Use it to make your color pasty, short and buttery.

Pastogel can be diluted with odorless solvent or oil.
The color temperature is not changed after it is added to oil paint.

Mix Pastogel directly into your paint on the palette.
The drying time is only insignificantly influenced.
